We had a cracking weekend away in Slimbridge, Gloucestershire where we stayed at Wild Goose Lodge for the second year running. Fantastic food (well done everyone!), night prayer on Friday night, early morning meditation on Saturday, a series of 6 ‘scripture snacks’ (30 min lectio divina and conversations around passages from 2 Corinthians), a songs-and-stories session for the children, a walk and a trip to the pub on Saturday, the hilarity of the famous ‘name game’ on Saturday night, and a slightly riotous eucharist on sunday morning. Good times!
