As we enter the height of summer it’s time for the Home Community to take it easy for a while, to kick back and spend some time simply enjoying each other’s company.
Our pattern over the last few years has been to have a ‘bring and share’ afternoon tea in the church hall (and spilling out into the garden) with a simple communion liturgy to end. This year we will be keeping to this pattern but also interviewing a different person each week using the questions from the Saturday edition of the Guardian. Hopefully it will enable us to get to know some people better in quite a lighthearted way.
So – please consider yourself invited to join with us on the dates above at 5pm at St Albans Church hall. And don’t forget to bring some food or drink with you to share. We’ll provide the tea!
