On Sunday 19th April we begin a new gathering cycle. The theme is ‘Mess’. We will be considering the messiness of life and faith together. Mess can make us very uncomfortable and we long for neat, clean lines and everything in its right place. This applies to matters of faith too – a simple faith can be very comforting but often faith is a lot more messy than that. How do we make sense of that and how can we learn to live with the untidiness of faith and belief? Perhaps we can learn – as Jackson Pollock, our featured artist, seemed to intuit – that mess can be beautiful.
Come along and explore this important theme together. We will discuss, listen to Gabrielle’s reflections, explore the theme with the kids, listen to Revd Alan Ramsey’s talk, share contributions and meditate on the theme together.
