On Sunday 18th September the Home Community is celebrating the Harvest Festival.
For many of us this will conjure up memories of school assemblies and the like. We hope to preserve those good (?) memories but also inject some fresh life into this important festival.
Harvest is a really good opportunity to remember the goodness of creation and to give thanks for it’s bounty.
We’ll be doing this through some old songs (in the ‘beer and hymns’ style), some readings and one or two others things.
Come along to the Isis Farmhouse (formerly the Isis Tavern) on Sunday 18th September at 530pm. The barn is located behind the pub which is only accessible on foot/bike from either Donnington Bridge or Iffley Village.
