We had a lovely Christingle service in Advent this year. Home hosted the service but welcomed families not only from the Home community but also from the Parish we are linked to.
This year as well as the usual songs and prayers we collected the elements of the Christingle from 4 different stations – with a little activity to do at each one – and then when we had all the component parts we brought them all to the ‘making table’ to assemble them into the finished article. It was a really good team effort with lots of people from Home taking part (ably led by Ruth).
